New Jersey’s Most Popular Costume for Halloween 2017 May Have You Scratching Your Head

Halloween 2017 is shaping up to be a frightening success when it comes spending on candy, decorations, and of course costumes.

Looks like the country is going to set an all-time record of $9.1 billion spent this year, with almost $3.4 billion going towards costumes. All Home Connections got together with CutCable Today to put together a map of every state's most popular costume for Halloween 2017.

What's the most popular costume for the Garden State, you ask? It's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT)! At first, I had to scratch my head and wonder what the heck TMNT even was, but then I realized that one of boys was actually one of these guys many Halloweens ago! Some trends just never go away, I guess!
