Excitement is building as Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's grand opening is just days away. And as crews are busy putting the finishing touches on their $500 million renovation, the casino got to experience a bit of levity earlier this week.

Just as Hard Rock was getting ready to install a 30-foot-tall guitar-shaped sign, they noticed something didn't seem quite right.

The guitar, modeled after a Gibson Les Paul, was put up Thursday, but the rhythm-treble switch on the guitar was spelled, "rhythem," according to Time magazine, who has a picture of the typo.

Officials were able to quickly fix the sign. The installation of a second giant guitar is set for Saturday.
