National Night Out is a annual community effort to build a more positive relationship between police and the community they serve.

Look for Lite Rock live tonight in Galloway from 5 to 9PM at Jimmie Leeds Road.

The weather could also play a role in National Night Out. According to our Meteorologist Dan Zarrow, we could see gusty winds, hail, and very heavy rain will be possible from any storms that form this afternoon until 8 PM this eveing. Check back for an updated forecast.

National Night Out will also be celebrated tonight, weather permitting, at the following locations:

 Absecon in  Pitney Park on Pitney Road from 5-9PM.

Atlantic City at Pop Lloyd Stadium on Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard from 4PM to 8PM.

Brigantine at the 25th Street ball field from 6 to 9 PM

Egg Harbor Township at Tony Canale Park from 5 to 8PM.

Hammonton High School  6 to 9PM

Linwood at All Wars Memorial Park and the Northfield Community School from 6 to 8PM.

Many South Jersey towns plans to celebrate National Night Out including: Pleasantville, Somers Point, Ventnor, Avalon, Cape May Dennis, Lower and Middle Township, North Wildwood, Sea Isle City, Wildwood and Stone Harbor.
