Lights, camera, action! Hollywood isn't the only place where movies are filmed these days. In fact, some really good movies we're filmed right here in South Jersey!

American Hustle - 2013
This film stars Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper who was born in Philly and spent summers in Brigantine.
The real-life Camden mayor was portrayed, and not in a good way in the film.

Ocean's Eleven - 2001
Starring George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Brad Pitt, part of this movie was filmed in the baccarat pit at Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino. George Clooney also filmed a scene at the White House Sub Shop!

The Godfather Part III - 1990
Honestly, they should have stopped after Godfather II. A scene in the movie, which stars Diane Keaton and Al Pacino, is supposed to resemble a casino in Atlantic City. The Atlantic City Massacre is a scene where a helicopter was used in the assassination scene trying to kill Al Pacino's character.

Atlantic City - 1980
Of course we couldn't leave this off the list. Starring Burt Lancaster and Susan Sarandon, the movie filmed in parts of Atlantic City, was nominated for five Academy Awards. Only Resorts and Caesar's were the only casinos open during filming in 1979.

Clerks - 1994
This cult film was written and directed by Kevin Smith. The Quick Stop convenience store in Leonardo, New Jersey is the center point of the movie. There is a scene filmed at a comic book store on Rt. 38 in Mt. Holly.
