A popular one-stop drug shop being run by a mother and her son in their Northfield rental home was closed for business Monday when Northfield Police arrested six people at the Cove Avenue residence.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, police began investigating the property a month ago when neighbors complained about the drug-related traffic on their street.  Even as the drug house was being busted, police said they stopped at least four cars with people interested in buying drugs.

Heroin, cocaine, marijuana, a “large amount” of prescription medication including fentanyl patches, roxicodone, xanax and suboxone, and about $3,000 in cash were seized in a search conducted at the home in the unit block, according to Northfield police.

April Goller, 42, and her 25-year-old son, Patrick Howard Jr., both of Northfield were each charged with two counts of possession and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and two counts of distribution of a CDS.

Also arrested were....

Norman Grist, 47, of Linwood was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and distribution of CDS, namely prescription pills.

William Nogle, 44, of Ventnor was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine.

Steven Long, 28, of Ocean View was charged with possession of a CDS, namely heroin.

Angelo Perricci, 31, of Egg Harbor Township was arrested and charged with possession of CDS, namely prescription pills.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force assisted in the execution of the search warrant.
