This year’s official Read Across America Day is Monday, March 3rd. The NEA’s Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on or close to March 2—Dr. Seuss’s birthday.

Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens, and books, and you can too! Incorporate these guides and activities to celebrate reading with young people.

I love the idea and I’ve have been a part of the celebration for years, going to South Jersey schools to read to kids.

This year, Lite Rock wants to expand on the idea and, that’s why, this week,  March 3rd to the 7th, I will be conducting “Eddie’s Read Across South Jersey Tour”.

Each day I’ll be going to a different South Jersey elementary school to read Dr Seuss books to the kids!
