The Somers Point Board of Education says the mold remediation problem in the city's three schools will be sufficiently corrected in time for the schools to re-open on Tuesday, September 18th. The proposed date is two weeks... after school was originally scheduled to start for the year.

The plan includes some students having to use temporary classrooms for the first week of school. Still unresolved is when the missed school days will be made up.  A proposal for making up  the missed days is expected to be submitted for approval at a meeting of the school board on September 20th.
