The Miss America Pageant is coming home to Boardwalk Hall on September 15th. The Miss America events start today in Atlantic City. The 53 Miss America contestants make their debut today at 4 PM at Kennedy Plaza. Mallory Hagan, Miss America 2013, will take center stage to unveil Atlantic City’s newest tribute to the tradition of the Miss America Pageant.

Special guests on hand today include Kim Guadagno, New Jersey's Lt. Governor, Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo Langford, John Palmieri Executive Director of the CRDA, Liza Cartmell, President of the Atlantic City Alliance and Sam Haskell, III, Chairman and CEO of Miss America Organization

Look for the Food Network's pastry chefs to give out more than 1,000 cupcakes to special guests and people on hand to welcome the 53 Miss America contestants!

The Miss America parade t will take place Saturday, Sept. 14 the day before the big pageant. Organizers expect the parade alone to attract 200,000 people to the Boardwalk. The Miss America Pageant will be live on ABC TV on Sunday, September 15th.
