The U.S. Air force Thunderbirds along with The Blue Angels will be back and once again will take part in civilian and military eventsAtlanitc City Air Show organizers have confirmed they have put in their bid to be on both teams’ performance schedules. The Thunderbird have been a part of Thunder over the Boardwalk for over 10 years. Scheduling conflicts and federal budget cuts  were they main reason that there was no military act in this year's show.

Only 400,000 watched this 2013 version of the AC Airshow compared to over 900,000 in 2012. Organizers would also like to see the airshow moved to August instead of June. No decisions on when the show will take place have been made.
