What do you get when you pair up Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts as Josh and Cornelia, a NYC married couple in their mid-forties with no kids??  You get 'While We're Young', an engagingly honest, funny film.

Josh and Cornelia find their lives becoming somewhat boring.  They don't go out much anymore and really don't do much of anything.  Their friends are all starting to have kids, and they are growing apart from all of them.  Then they meet Jamie (Adam Driver) and Darby (Amanda Seyfried).  Jamie and Darby are twenty-somethings whose lives seem much more hip and spontaneous and fun.  Jamie and Josh are actually both documentary filmmakers, although Josh has been doing it for much longer than Jamie.  In fact, Josh has been working on the same film for several years.  Josh offers to help Jamie out, until Josh starts to think that Jamie may not be as honest as he thought he was.
'
While We're Young' was shown at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, and it has received favorable reviews from critics.  But that's not why I enjoyed it.  It's fun (and funny), it's artsy (and interesting), and Ben Stiller always makes me laugh.  'While We're Young' reminds us that we're all getting older, but we can still be young at heart.  :)
