When you want something sweet (like a donut), why not eat a muffin instead?

Nowadays you can find muffins everywhere and there are plenty of options.

Try a bran muffin.  Bran is rich in fiber, omega, protein, vitamins, and dietary minerals.  Sounds great!  Just don't add a big glob of butter to it and you should be okay.

There is another problem with muffins, however.  It's about portion size.  Some muffins are huge!  It's fine it you plan to share with a friend.  But if you're gonna enjoy your muffin solo, beware of all the calories.  Better to just eat half now & save the rest for later.  Bran muffins tend to be filling anyway.

Just remember to stop eatin' before you're stuffed.  Then you can enjoy another treat later on.  But not an hour later.  Better pace yourself!

So enjoy your muffin, but enjoy it sensibly.  If you don't, you will have a bigger problem...a muffin top.  :)
