Sometimes gettin' & stayin' in shape is about changin' habits.  For instance, do you automatically hop in an elevator or on an escalator even when there are stairs right next to them?  Maybe you don't even realize you're doin' it.  That's what I did, until one day I decided to change things up & take the healthier option.

For years I took the same elevator every day simply out of habit.  One day I was like, why not take the stairs?  They are right across from the elevator, & I'm only goin' up one floor!  So I started takin' the stairs instead, & you know what?  Now I take the stairs whenever I can.  Of course, sometimes the stairs are not a good option.  If the stairwell is dark & creepy, I'm not goin' near it & neither should you!

But when the stairs are a safe option, go ahead...take the stairs!  Your legs (& your whole body) will thank you.  #takethestairs  :)
