Margate Police Ask For Your Help Identifying Burglary Suspect

Nothing personal to either profession, but contractors in Margate are as common as clowns in a circus.  So, when a man posing as a contractor came to the home of an elderly Margate woman earlier this month, it raised... no suspicions.

While the phony contractor kept the woman distracted, police say, an unknown accomplice entered her home, stealing cash and jewelry.

The burglary took place on the 8100 block of Atlantic Avenue.  Margate Police have released this sketch of the suspect and they are asking for your help identifying him.  He's described as approximately 5'10", 40-45 years-old, 225 to 240 pounds, possibly Hispanic with short cropped hair.
