Congratulations to Ray Romito, the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month for December. Mr. Romito, an Italian language teacher at Mainland High School, was nominated by his student Kristina Gitsas

We had a fun time Thursday bringing a Lite Rock pizza party to Mr. Romito's class, courtesy of Capri Pizza in Northfield and a fresh fruit flower arrangement from B.F. Mazzeo in Northfield.

After four years together in Italian class, there's an obvious affection between these students and their teacher. You can hear Mr. Romito leading his class in singing "Italian Christmas Time" in an audio snippet below in this post.

For submitting the nomination, Kristina Gitsas is now qualified for a $2000 scholarship from Lite Rock.

NOMINATE A LITE ROCK TEACHER OF THE MONTH

Do you know of an excellent South Jersey teacher we should consider as the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month? We are looking for one more Lite Rock teacher of the Month for this school year.

Teacher of the Month nominations need only be about 100 words in length and are a great way of recognizing excellence for a teacher who is making a real difference in your child’s life.
