Lite Rock’s Holiday Food Drive in Absecon

Our fourth stop in Lite Rock’s annual Holiday Food Drive is this Saturday at the Shop Rite in Absecon on the White Horse Pike from 11 am to 1 pm. 

Our Holiday Food drive benefits the Community Food Bank of New Jersey Southern Branch in Egg Harbor Township. Each year the Community Food Bank of New Jersey and their partners feed 900,000 hungry people.

We’ll be trying to fill the truck from our sponsor Gentilini Motors in Woodbine with donated food. Gentilini Motors, with the two top American Brands – Ford and Chevrolet ,”same great South Jersey Family, and still just a short drive from anywhere”!

The Community Food Bank of New Jersey Southern Branch is making a special appeal this year for canned soups, meals in a can, peanut butter and jelly, canned tuna and other meats, and cereal.

Anyone who donates will be eligible to win tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters at Boardwalk Hall on Sunday December 29th.
