Kelly Clarkson Will Sing The Super Bowl National Anthem [VIDEO]

The original American Idol will sing The Star-Spangled Banner at Super Bowl 46.

The National Football League is expected to officially announce that Kelly

 Clarkson will perform the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. The Big Game will take place in Indianapolis on Feb. 5th

Kelly has performed the anthem at several high profile sporting events including Game 3 of the 2012 World Series and MLB's 2009 opening day between The Indians and The Yankees.  

Last year, Christina Aguilera performed the anthem,  flubbed the lyrics and was heavily criticized the next morning.
