Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG will be participating again this year in Galloway's National Night Out, tonight, Tuesday, Aug 1 from 6-9p at the Galloway Municipal Complex, 300 East Jimmie Leeds Road, brought to you by Shore Medical Center, healthcare at its best.

National Night Out first took place in 1984 to assist communities and police. The annual campaign promotes police and community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer.

Many South Jersey towns plans to celebrate the National Night Out, including Absecon, Atlantic City, Brigantine, EHT,  Hammonton, Linwood, Mullica, Northfield, Pleasantville, Somers Point, Ventnor, Avalon, Cape May, Dennis Township, Lower Township, Middle Township The Wildwoods, Sea Isle and Stone Harbor.

Tuesday evening's event in Galloway will include fire truck and emergency response demonstrations, pony rides, giveaways, food, crafts, raffles, games, a bounce house and more.
