Irish Weekend, Savor September, Wine & Food Fest – Weekend Happenings

The largest Irish festival on the east coast is happening this weekend in North Wildwood.

The Ancient Order of Hibernian's 26th annual Irish Fall Festival held on Olde New Jersey Avenue celebrates Irish heritage with dancing, music, and more than 100 food and craft vendors.

Other festivities include a golf tournament, Irish dance lessons, 5K run and 1 mile walk, pipe exhibition, food court stage, beer garden and Catholic Mass, not necessarily in that order. The success of this festival is amazing, drawing an estimated crowd of over 200,000 people.

The Irish Fall Festival is a "must-try' event in South Jersey.  Irish Weekend runs from 8a to 8p through Sunday.
