Apple is stepping up for their battery problem by offering quite the bargain as a solution.

If you have Apple Care+ and have a battery that is retaining less than 80% than its original capacity, Apple will provide a new battery for the iPhone SE, 6, 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X for just $29.00. A new battery for any other model without apple care with still cost the original $79.00.

In order to do so, request an appointment at their website for an in-store service repair but be aware the appointment is not an in and out kind of deal. Based on what others are saying, replacing the battery takes approximately one to two hours.

There are situations where they cannot replace the battery because it will damage the phone but in these instances, they will give you a new phone of the same model for the same $29.00.

So what do you think? Are you eligible for anew battery or even better, a new phone?
