Classic pop crooner Michael Buble plays Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center on Saturday, September 21st and Lite Rock is giving you the chance to win tickets and to meet Michael the night of the show!

The tour is in promotion of his latest album “To Be Loved”. Michael Buble’s choice of music that is easy on the ears, his constant touring, and wide appeal to audiences young and old, has made him one of the most popular singers of the past decade.

His love for singing was realized early on. Buble’s grandfather exposed him to the sounds of singers like Rosemary Clooney, Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra. While Buble says he likes the music of today, it was the classic standards that helped define his future. After his grandfather played him a song from the jazz band the Mills Brothers, he came to a realization that singing this type of music was what he wanted to do.

Buble’s big break came after his music was introduced to former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. Mulroney had received a copy of Buble’s demo and absolutely loved his music. Buble was invited to perform at the prime minister’s daughter’s wedding, where he was introduced to Warner Bros. executive David Foster. Soon after the two met, Buble was signed to a recording contract. In early 2003, his debut album was released, going platinum and reaching the top ten on the album charts in the UK and Canada.

Since the release of his first album, Buble has come out with multiple hit records that have been met with more critical acclaim. In 2006, his album “It’s Time”, with hit singles like “Home” and “Feeling Good,” won Juno Awards for Pop Album of the Year, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Single of the Year.
