Check out the video - Hydrotherapy for us two-legged animals helps us rehab from injuries or surgery.  Now our four-legged friends are jumping into the water.  Underwater treadmills are helping cats, dogs, and other pets get back into good health.

The therapeutic and buoyancy properties of water are highly beneficial to improve range of motion, strengthen muscles, and boost endurance and help pets with weight loss. Many pets can be frightened by the water and treadmill but once they get used to it, hydrotherapy is very beneficial.  Check out the video with Dr. Mark Newkirk of Newkirk Family Veterinarians as he explains this therapy to Robin Stoloff on her weekly radio program, Living Well on Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG Sunday 9-11am.
