Hostage Phone Scam Warning From Pleasantville Police

Pleasantiville PD have issued a warning concerning a hostage phone scam.

According to Police, two residents have recived a phone scam call. The person is told that a loved one is being held hostage, the caller than demands money from the resident.

Police are asking for your help by calling them immediately if you receive a call of this nature. Police are advising you not to give out any personal information, or a name of a family member. Hang up and call Police.
