Holy Spirit High School has another state title tonight!

Spirit senior Pat D'Arcy won the 126-pound state title at the State Individual Wrestling Championships at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

According to The Press of Atlantic City, D'Arcy won the 126-pound state title with a 4-1 double overtime decision over Anthony Cefalo from Hanover Park Regional High School of Morris County. Cefalo is a two-time state champion.

D'Arcy, who is committed to Princeton, finished third in the state as a sophomore and second as a junior. He made the natural progression this year.

"I've been waiting all year to get back, I worked my butt off,"  D'Arcy told nj.com. "All these matches could go either way and I was fortunate to come out on top. This is what it's all about.

"My whole high school career I've been trying to win a state title. You go out as a kid ... I always wanted to come here and win the state title and it finally happened for me."
