The next class of Miss America candidates made their debut Thursday on the steamy world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk during the 2019 Miss America America Arrival Ceremony at Kennedy Plaza.

Of course the biggest hand was saved for Jamie Gialloreto of Woolwich Township who just happens to be our reigning Miss New Jersey.

Next week will be a busy time for all 51 contestants as the Miss America preliminaries begin on Wednesday and wrap on Friday.

One of the most beloved Atlantic City traditions, the iconic Show Us Your Shows Parade will step off New Jersey Avenue and onto the boardwalk on Saturday, 8/8, the evening before Sunday's live broadcast at Boardwalk Hall. Don't forget, you can catch the competition on ABC-TV, Sunday night at 9pm ET.
