Help Wanted at New Grocery in Old EHT Genuardi’s Location

The Genuardi's Plaza shopping center, missing its namesake anchor store for the last two and half years, is about to get a new tenant.

JR's Fresh Market will open soon on the site of the the old Genardi's Supermarket on Fire Road in EHT.

Genuardi's closed their doors in December of 2012,  leaving a dearth of local supermarket shopping options in the area.

Signs posted in the window of the 48,000 square-foot space promise the new grocery is "coming soon" and give hiring information scheduled to begin Monday, July 6th between noon to 4pm.

Not much is known yet about JR's Fresh Market, but local shoppers and potential employees will gladly welcome them to the community!
