Harlem Globetrotter Visits Lite Rock Teacher of the Month’s Class

Julie Willson's class at the Swift School in Egg Harbor Township received an unexpected perk for being selected as the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month for December.

Bull Bullard of the Harlem Globetrotters agreed to accompany me to the Swift School and gave the entire second grade (five classes) a lesson on avoiding bullying and  tips on how to do some Globetrotter tricks with the basketball.

The Harlem Globetrotters play at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on December 29th at 2pm.

Each month the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month receives a membership to Island Gym and a pizza party for his or her class from Carluccio's Coal Fired Pizza in Northfield.

The nominating student is also put in the running for a $2000 scholarship Lite Rock gives away at the end of the school year.
