Hard Rock Cafe Opts Out of Atlantic City

Hard Rock casino developers have dropped plans for their Atlantic City casino project which would of included a hotel with over 200 rooms, a Hard Rock museum, an outdoor pool on the beach and live entertainment. 

The Hard Rock project location was at the foot of the Route 40 entryway near the southern end of the boardwalk.

The Hard Rock development group  faced a deadline for a $1 million payment to the state for the project if they didn't opt out of the Atlantic City Hard Rock project.
