At age 68, Don Henley shows no signs of slowing down.  His career is still going strong.  He is currently on tour with The Eagles.  In fact, they made a stop at Boardwalk Hall last Friday night.  Their two-year farewell tour finishes up this month.  And then, believe it or not, Henley will hit the road again in a few months!  This time around, he will be on the road solo to promote his upcoming album "Cass County".  It will be his first solo album since "Inside Job" way back in 2000 (fifteen years ago!).  It's due to be released on 9/25.  His solo tour kicks off in October and (good news!) will make a stop in Philly.

Oh, and did I mention that "Cass County" is a country album??  Yeah it is.  But with more and more pop artists doing country albums and with country music sounding more like pop music these days, it's not a big surprise.  At this point in his career and at his age, Don Henley can do whatever he wants.  And in his case, it looks like 68 is the new 28.  :)
