Graduation Day at Oakcrest, Absegami – Congratulations to the Falcons & Braves Class of 2012

One of the most special days of their lives has arrived for the 2012 class of the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High Schools.  Today, Thursday, June 7th,  is Graduation Day for Absegami High School in Galloway and Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing.  The school district's other high school, Cedar Creek,  will have their first graduating class in the 2012-21013 school year.

The Oakcrest Falcons, celebrating... their 50th anniversary this year,  hold their graduation ceremonies on the athletic field at 6p.m., weather permitting.  Project Graduation, a safe all-night after graduation event begins at 11p.m. at the Hess School.

The over 500 graduates at Absegami High School will attend commencement ceremonies outside  the school at 6p.m. The graduating Braves are invited to an all-night  Operation graduation from 11p.m. to 5a.m.

If there is no rain this evening in South Jersey, the graduation ceremonies at both schools are much less  restrictive and complicated for attending family and guests  Let's hope the weather holds up!
