Good Guy Award: Absecon Cop Fixes Girl’s Bike, Gives Her a Ride

Here's my pick for the South Jersey Good Guy Award this week. A Facebook post Tuesday by Absecon resident John Taimanglo shows an Absecon Police officer stopping on his street to help a young girl whose bike chain has popped off while riding home in the rain.

The officer got out of his squad car and helped fix the girl's bike chain and then offered her a ride, putting her bike in the back of his patrol car and driving her home.

We aren't sure of the officer's identity, but if you know, please leave the information in the comments section. Well done, officer!  You are officially a good guy!
