After much hype and speculation, the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ cast was announced on ‘Good Morning America’ Tuesday morning. While there are a lot of familiar names, the list may surprise you with its lack of any truly shocking choices.

There has been a lot of buzz about which “B” or “C List” celebrities might be on the next season of ABC’s runaway hit. Speculation ranged from Paul Reubens to Tim Tebow. And now, the rumors can be put to rest, as the stars have been announced.

The show has put together the usual mix of TV personalities, recording artists and sports celebrities, with a few unexpected names thrown in. These are the celebrities who make up the cast of season 14 of ‘DWTS.’

Gladys Knight

Knight took time away from the studio to join the cast because, “the Pips never let me dance.” The eight-time Grammy winner is the Empress of Soul, and now we’ll see if she’s also the Empress of Dance. She will partner  with Tristan MacManus.

Jaleel White

Urkel is back, but does he have the moves? We saw Jaleel embody geekitude as Urkel on the show ‘Family Matters,’ but he hardly seemed like a graceful guy. Now he’s starring in an upcoming Syfy reality series called ‘Total Blackout.’ He will dance with two-time champion Kym Johnson.

Maria Menounos

Currently the host of ‘Extra,’ this dazzling competitor was the youngest person to ever host ‘Entertainment Tonight’ and has also reported for ‘Today,’ ‘Dateline’ and ‘Nightly News.’ This just in, it’s possible she can also dance. Her partner is three-time winner Derek Hough.

Roshon Fegan

As a young star who came up through the Disney Channel school of celebrity, Fegan will be recognized by kids and parents for his roles in ‘Camp Rock’ and ‘Shake It Up!’ The singer, songwriter, producer and actor will dance with Chelsie Hightower.

Martina Navratilova

The tennis legend can move her feet swiftly on the court, but will that translate to prize-winning dance moves? With 59 Grand Slam titles, a record 9 Wimbledon singles championships and 344 tournament victories, Navratilova is used to winning. She will dance with Tony Dovolani.

Gavin DeGraw

This platinum selling pop recording artist wowed the world with breakout hits like ‘I Don’t Want to Be’ and ‘Follow Through.’ His song ‘Not Over You’ just went platinum. He will partner with reigning champ Karin Smirnoff.

Katherine Jenkins

This Welsh opera star is no stranger to the ‘DWTS’ stage. She performed on the show as a singer last season. She is a world-renowned vocal performer, and now she’ll get to prove she can also dance with her partner, two-time champion Mark Ballas.

Sheri Shepherd

We’ll finally get to see if Shepherd’s feet move as fast as her mouth. The outspoken co-host of ‘The View’ has won a Daytime Emmy Award, so perhaps the mirror ball trophy will join it on her mantle. She will dance with Val Chmerkovskiy.

Donald Driver

As a receiver for the Green Bay Packers, Driver has won the Super Bowl and is the team’s all-time leading receiver. He is known for overcoming great adversity and being one of the most philanthropic players in the NFL. He will dance with Peta Murgatroyd.

Melissa Gilbbert

You’ll recognize Gilbert from her well-known stint as Laura Ingalls Wilder on the popular television show ‘Little House on the Prairie.’ Among other acting gigs, she is also a past president of the Screen Actors Guild. Her partner will be Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Jack Wagner

Wagner is now a popular star of ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ and also appeared as Frisco Jones on ‘General Hospital.’ He’s triumphed on the small screen, the Broadway stage and in the studio, and will now dance with Anna Trebunskaya.

William Levy

Levy is a popular star on Telemundo who beat the odds to come to the US from Cuba when he was 15 in order to give himself a chance at a better life. He is now one of Mexico’s most sought after leading actors, but can he dance? He’ll certainly try with two-time winner Cheryl Burke by his side.
