Gilda's Club South Jersey, a club for anyone who has been touched by cancer, commemorates its tenth anniversary with "GildaFest", a free celebration open to all this Friday evening from 5-8pm.

GildaFest will be held at the Gilda's Club South Jersey clubhouse at 700 New Road in Linwood. Lite Rock will be on hand and I will be the host for GildaFest and I'd like to invite you and your family to join me this Friday!

GildaFest will be a free family fun night featuring food and music, games and entertainment fro kids and adults, an exotic bird show , face painting, strolling characters, magicians, and lots more.  Music provided by Shore Entertainment DJ's.

The weather sounds like it will be perfect for our big 10th anniversary soiree, so please join me and Lite Rock in celebrating 10 years of good work by one of my favorite South Jersey charities, Gilda's Club South Jersey!

The night of GildaFest, Gilda’s Club South Jersey will also be honoring its “Dazzlers of
the Decade”, businesses, groups and individuals who have played a key role in the
success and expansion of its program over the first ten years, including the Ruth Newman
Shapiro Cancer & Heart Fund, Wawa, AtlantiCare, Cape Bank, the Gomes Family, and
Jim & Isabel Allen.

If you are not familiar with Gilda's Club South Jersey, let me give you a little background on this wonderful, local organization.

Gilda’s Club South Jersey is a non-profit organization offering support groups, lectures,
workshops and social events as a supplement to medical care in a warm and welcoming
home-like setting. The program is free of charge to all members and open to everyone
touched by cancer.
Gilda’s Club is named in honor of comedian Gilda Radner who was diagnosed with
ovarian cancer in 1986. Gilda believed that all people with cancer and their families and
friends should have free access to social and emotional support
