We could be looking at 90 + degrees with heat and humidity every day this week. Wednesday could be the hottest day of the week as the heat index could rise to over 100 plus degrees.

To help you keep cool during another Heat Wave remember to:

Slow down and reduce, elimnate or reshedule strenuous activities until the coolest time of the day. Children, seniors and anyone with help problems should stay in the coolest available place.

Dress for summer. Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing to reflect heat and sunlight.

Drink plenty of water, non-alcoholic and decaffeinated fluids. Your body needs water to keep cool. Drink plenty of fluids even if you don’t feel thirsty.

Never leave children or pets in unattended vehicles. Here are more common sense tips to help you surrvive another South Jersey heat wave.
