Stores are now closing at an alarming rate. 2017 will go down as the year of massive store closings. You can now add another retail chain to the list.

Gap will now start the process of closing 200 Gap and Banana Republic stores over the next three years, according to Fortune.com.

New Jersey locations for Gap include Atlantic City, Blackwood, Cherry Hill, Marlton and Princeton. No word on what stores will be closing or when the closing process will take place.

There is also good news and the company plans on opening an additional 270 Old Navy and Athleta stores in the same time frame.
