Atlantic City Police investigating the shooting death of a city man on Mother's day, arrested a suspect on Monday, in a crime that appears to be gang related.

Police found the body of Keith Cundiff Jr., 32, of North Virginia Avenue Sunday afternoon in the 800 block of North Maryland with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a statement released by Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that the investigation resulted in the arrest of Lorin Wright, 31, of Ohio Avenue, who also was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to the statement.

Wright was found inside a home on the 1000 block of Brights Court by city police and the Atlantic County Major Crimes Squad after they executed a search warrant.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that Wright and Cundiff were both arrested in 2013 during a roundup of 800 Blok gang members in the city

Wright appeared by video Monday before Municipal Court Judge Howard E. Freed. He is being held in the Atlantic County jail in Mays Landing.
