A Galloway Township police officer helped saved the life of a 16-month-old infant last week.

According to a press release, last Friday Galloway Township Police Officer Matthew Worth was dispatched to an address on Federal Court after a 9-1-1 report of pediatric seizures. Upon his arrival, the family took him to a 16-month-old child who was unconscious and was not breathing. Officer Worth quickly provided rescue breaths and pediatric CPR and was able to restore the child's breathing.  After a trip to the hospital, the infant was released to his parents and is doing well.
