Tonight is the next step in Mara Justine's attempt to win the NBC-TV show "America's Got Talent".

The 12-year-old Galloway girl, who impressed the show's judges with her mature and powerful singing voice and R&B-influenced style, is being featured in Tuesday night's quarterfinal round live from New York City's Radio Music Hall.

In order to advance any further, now Mara Justine must be a hit with the show's viewers as well.  If she does well with tonight's performance and the national voting that follows, Mara will move one step closer to winning the show's $1 million grand prize.

The Lite Rock Morning Show has been following Mara Justine's AGT journey (see and listen to our previous conversation with Mara Justine).

This morning, I had a chance to talk with the 6th grader from Reeds Road School  and her mother Linda as they nervously anticipated tonight's show.

Here is audio from my conversation with Mara Justine this morning.
