Tuckerton Borough Open House / Donation Drive for local family

Earlier this week, a family from Tuckerton Borough’s home caught fire. The fire destroyed many of their possessions and a large section of their home, making it inhabitable. On Tuesday October 8^th the Tuckerton Fire Department is holding their annual Fire Prevention Open House. During this event, the department will be gathering donations to help the family recover. “We are asking primarily for gift cards or monetary donations so the family can get what they need the most since they know what is most necessary,” says Dale Eggert of the Tuckerton Fire Department.  The event is being held at the Tuckerton Fire House Located at 111 North Green Street in Tuckerton from 5pm-9pm. Donations are greatly appreciated.
