The Avalon Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Seafood Festival on November 2nd and 3rd from 10 am - 5 pm. The event will be held at 30th Street and the beach and will feature crafts, gifts, live entertainment, carnival games, and the best seafood in the area. Local restaurants will compete on both days of the festival. The return of the popular Clam Shucking Contest is scheduled for Saturday at 2:30 p.m. On Sunday afternoon, the public is invited to judge local restaurants’ entries in the popular Chowder Championship Contest.
