Come out on Saturday, July 18th, 2015 and join the Pleasant Plains Volunteer Firehouse as they host their 34th annual Family Chicken Barbecue! This rain or shine event will run from 12:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at the Pleasant Plains Firehouse located at 40 Clayton Avenue, Toms River, New Jersey. A meal ticket includes 1/2 chicken, corn on the cob, salad, rolls, watermelon, 2 drinks, beer, and birch beer. The price for an adult meal ticket is $9.00 and for children under 12 years old is $6.00. There will also be a raffle drawing at 5:00p.m. for a chance to win a 2015 Ford Focus, tickets cost $100.00 as there are only 350 tickets in the drawing.
