American Red Cross has launched a nationwide campaign called Home Fire Preparedness Campaign. It’s goal is to reduce injuries and deaths from home fires by 25% in five years.  On March 7th, they will be in Pleasantville with their community partners, going house to house to check batteries and install smoke alarms. Breakfast and set up will be from 7:30 am to 9:00 am.  Orientation starts at 9:00, and at 10:00 am, teams go out.  To learn more about Red Cross and their Home Fire Preparedness Campaign or to volunteer, click here.
