Avalon is having a festive lineup of events from November 27th to November 30th. To kickoff the celebration, there will be a Festival of Trees. Local businesses will decorate trees and wreaths that will be available for auction. On Friday, November 29, support the Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children, with the 2nd Annual Turkey Trot 5K and 1-Mile Walk. The run will begin at 10 a.m. and will take participants on a scenic route through Avalon. Snowfest Saturday will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Avalon Elementary School field. Visitors can enjoy a carnival complete with rides, games, prizes and much more!
