LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ- Battle The Beach 5K (BTB5K) competition will challenge every athlete with the combination of a 5K run, the difficulty of running in the sand, the color explosion of a Color Run and the obstacles of a Mud Run. Participants must face 10-12 obstacles placed along the beach for a 3.1 mile long course. The competition will be held at Wildwood, NJ on Sunday, September 15th.

Obstacles included in the race will be tire swings, cargo nets, tunnels, hurdles, balance beams, sand mounds, high walls to climb, and water crawls that will all take place on the beach and in the sand. Swimming however is not an obstacle but participants should be prepared to run through knee-deep water. The competition is open to all skill levels. Participants must be 16 years old in order to compete in BTB5K.
