Elevator Ride From Hell: Girl Saves Her Strangling Dog in Crazy Video

A simple ride on a elevator turned in to a harrowing ordeal for a Canadian women and her rottweiler, Vado, earlier this month, and now video of the episode has gone viral.

“I thought I was going to watch him die.”

That’s how Tamara Seibert describes what happened after she hopped on the elevator for a routine ride with her dog and another pooch she was dog-sitting, but it almost ended badly.

As the doors closed behind her, Vado got yanked off the floor to the top of the door and was left hanging by his collar.

The leash had gotten caught in the door — and not only was it wrapped around the dog’s neck, it was also stuck around the woman’s hand.

Video shows her lifting the dog up while she tries to get the leash unhooked from the collar, which she eventually does.

The dog is fine. The woman, although shaken up, is also fine.
