A man from Egg Harbor Township is now facing a first degree murder charge in connection to the death of a man from Atlantic City earlier this month.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office says 36-year-old Troy Demby has been charged with first degree murder, first degree felony murder, and several second degree weapons charges in connection to the death of 30 year-old Raphael G. Terrigino of Atlantic City.

Authorities say Terrigino was found dead in a vehicle at 12 Stenton Place in Pleasantville on the morning of February 2nd after police responded to a 911 call. An autopsy determined the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head.

Cops have also charged Demby with first degree possession of CDS with intent to distribute after investigators discovered and seized approximately 10 ounces of cocaine in a home where the defendant was located on February 7th.

Demby remains lodged at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
