Egg Harbor City Community School Wins Second ‘Recycle Bowl’ Award

Those kids at Egg Harbor City Community School really know how to recycle! 

The middle school won its second consecutive "Recycle Bowl" competition, sponsored nationally by the Keep America Beautiful organization.

The Community School took first place in Atlantic County by recycling at a rate of 46.2 pounds of waste per student, during the month-long competition.

The ACUA presented Egg Harbor Community with a $1000 prize to be used for environmental programs during a ceremony at the school Monday.
