A small earthquake shook South Jersey early Friday morning.The United Geological Survey reports the quake measured 2.1 on the Richter scale and was centered near Clementon in Camden County.

A number of people reported feeling the earthquake in Wharton, Cherry Hill, Toms River, Manchester, Atco, Bellmawr, Glassboro, Manahawkin, Sweedesboro, Haddonfield, Trenton, Mt. Laurel and Moorestown among other locations reports the UGS, who places the epicenter of the quake 3.2 miles below the earth's surface.

WPVI TV says residents reported they heard explosion-like sounds and felt the ground shaking. There are no reports of injuries or damage.

It was the second earthquake to hit New Jersey this month. On Nov. 5, a 2.0-magnitude quake struck the Ringwood area in Passaic County.
