Six Flags Great Adventure is set to unleash the biggest and scariest Fright Fest in history this fall.

The Northeast’s Largest Halloween party, which runs weekends and select days through October 31, features more than 25 Halloween-themed shows and attractions, according to a press release.

Families can enjoy thrills By day with all of their favorite rides and family-friendly entertainment, and experience Fright By Night with terrifying mazes, scare zones, spooktacular shows and thrilling rides after dark.

This year, a big part of the fun is the 20th season of the spooky song-and-dance spectacular Dead Man's Party, happening in the stunt show arena located in the park's Demon District scare zone.

For younger and more squeamish attendees, there will be relatively mild daylight attractions, such as a trick-or-treat trail, Professor Slithers' Creepy Critters and a magic show.

After 6 pm, when the park takes a very dark turn, guests can expect their Halloween favorites like the Arrival ghoul parade, The Awakening and Dead Man’s Party.

New additions include a maze based on the horror film "Hell Fest,", in addition to the terrifying attraction "Fears" and the mirror maze "Reflections of the Dead."
