Drug Addiction Takes Another Young Local Life

The local epidemic of drug addiction snuffed out another life of a young person in South Jersey last week.

Ashley Gitto, 25, from Lower Bank, died on Thursday from complications of drug addiction, according to her obituary.

I didn't know Ashley personally, but I still feel real sorrow from her death. She worked at local businesses I'm familiar with, went to local schools, had many local people in her life who loved her and, ultimately, she died in a senseless manner which has become all too familiar in our community.
