Did you feel a jolt this afternoon? A lot of people were buzzing about feeling the earth shake Thursday afternoon in parts of South Jersey. 

According to the Press of Atlantic City, tremors were felt in parts of Wildwood, Harvey Cedars and Hammonton around 4:25 Thursday afternoon.

There was no reported seismic activity anywhere in South Jersey, according to The U.S. Geological Survey.

WFPG Chief Meteorologist Dan Zarrow has been inundated with reports from people who say they felt something. From Cape May County to Toms River in Ocean County to Southampton in Burlington County — and even as north as Hunterdon County.

Sergio Bichao of the Townsquare News Network is reporting that some people said they felt the ground or the floors in their buildings move. Some heard rumbling sounds.
